Go to Playlist Section:

  • Log in to your Playwire account
  • Click “Videos” from the left navigation
  • Click “Create Playlists” from the expanded menu

Standard Playlists:

Standard playlists allow you to select the videos and sequence of the playlist. Use this type of playlist if you need full control of your playlists.
  • Click the “Create” button under Standard
  • Enter a title, description and category for your playlist
  • Click or drag the videos you would like in the playlist in the gray Empty Playlist area
  • Select up to 50 videos for your playlist; you can also drag and reorder the videos as you please
  • Configure your *Advanced Settings
  • Click the “Create Playlist” button to finish
  • You should now see the message – “Curated playlist was successfully created.”
  • Go to Step 4 for help with embedding your playlist

Playlist settings will override any settings that individual videos in the playlist have set already.

Dynamic Playlists:

Dynamic playlists are automatically generated based on the your settings. Use this type of playlist if you want a playlist that will be automatically updated without having to add more videos.
  • Enter a title, description and category for your playlist.
  • Select a category for your playlist
  • Under source, select My Videos, Shared Accounts or Sandbox to select where the videos will be pulled from*
  • Enter a Max Length for your playlist (50 videos is the limit)
  • Configure your *Advanced Settings
  • Click the “Create Playlist” button to finish
  • You should now see the message – “Curated playlist was successfully created.”
  • Go to Step 4 for help with embedding your playlist

Based on the category and source your select, the playlist will be automatically generated. The order of the playlists is determined by the upload date and time of the videos. For example, if you select “My Videos” and “Sandbox” as your sources, the playlist will

Embed Your Playlist:

Now that you have successfully created a playlist, you can now embed it on your website.
  • Scroll down to the Playlist details section
  • To the right of the embed section, you will see the copy button
  • Click the copy button, the embed code is now copied to your clipboard, you will see a pop up to confirm the embed code has been copied
  • You can now paste the embed code in the code of your website whereever you would like the playlist to be viewed. Refer to section 3.3 of the Quick Start Guide for help with embedding.
